Motherhood Poem by Anya C

Motherhood

Rating: 5.0

May be you are the candy floss I couldn't afford in fair
May be you are a snowy fractal so crafted with care

I remember I saved a feather in my youth that had flown to me with morning dew
But tell me love, I saved it in my book of dreams, how did it get to you?

You came upon to have these fingers that curl in, tap away the ridden
What fairy wrote you in my book, I keep pouring in the chapter written

What lucky lark sung in the fields, what cat mewed to her kitten
What wise stork knew all the tales
where was this furry-bunny hidden?

Who put all the bon-bons together, packed in such a bindle so cheery, who got me this bundle of joy and this worthy life so merry?
