Motherly Advice Poem by Francis Duggan

Motherly Advice

Rating: 5.0

I recall as a boy my mum said to me son
I will not feel proud of you if you ever harm anyone
Just live as your dad does as an honest hard working man
And anyone in need of helping do help if you can
To my mother's advice i try to live true
In life we receive the Karma that to us is due
And in life if you do not give do not expect to receive
On such a philosophy i do believe
It was good advice that my mum to me gave
She died years before dad died they now share the same grave
From such words of wisdom life insights we gain
And true to her wishes for me i do hope to remain
Till the Reaper of Lives claims the life's breath from me
On some future night or day whenever that will be.

Now I found you. I was restlessly looking forward to hear from you. I was really sad to be disconnected. I was worried for you too. Now my search ended. I was always proud for a decorated poet who wrote over 10000 poems years ago! There is a big demand for your kind of poems with rhythms and rhymes! It is not easy to find a natural and an environmentally concerned poet like you. Take my regards and stay well, poet! Your sonnet is praise worthy! ____I recall as a boy my mum said to me son I will not feel proud of you if you ever harm anyone.

Your poems are most natural and tasty with rhythms and rhymes. Perhaps, after 10 years I found you and your extra ordinary poems in here. I hope and pry thay you keep writing and never give up! It is not easy to construct rhymes. I recall as a boy my mum said to me son I will not feel proud of you if you ever harm anyone_____You did it. You are the only poet whom I know wrote over 10000 larger poems few years ago. Take my best regards, poet!
