From the deep woods
I can hear an eerie silence
When night sneaks into my
Room to perform a dance
Tender brook falls dumb as
In the sky the moon shows up
Tearing through silver shroud
Hungry owls fly over a sea of crop
Silence reigns over huts
Littered across the lap of the hill
The evening star begins to shine
On the horizon it seems lonely and still
Through cracks in the window
Soft beam graze upon the floor
Cool wind gives light knocks to
Make latches click in the door
Lying and thinking about you
I can hear rustle of your dress
A soothing fragrance drifts in to
The room as you let loose your tress
Night of our meeting gets thick
And heart beats a loving song
As you come in wearing a smile
I wish the night to reign for long
