Mountains Poem by Jessica Gabanyic

Mountains

They say I'll never make it,
There are times I wish I could,
The mountains overwhelming me,
I can't take another step,

The fear over powering,
And the loss too great,
But there is a feeling of peace,
With every breath I take,
And every move I make,
I must keep going,

They have told me I'll never make it,
The mountains big and over bearing,
But I have survived,

What they say,
Doesn't affect me,
My Faith stronger then before
