Move On - Poem by Kayla Bakken

What once was,
won't be again,
look to tomorrow,
let a new day begin,

For i won't be your shoulder to cry on,
you can stand on your own two feet,
i'm not the reason he left you,
i'm not the poet to beat,

so Inhabit in self-pity,
choose not to move on,
but I choose to stay standing,
where i belong.
