Moving On Poem by Akash Shukla

Moving On

So many things to do, so little time
and here it comes, 'the lonely heart's rhyme'

all the learning curves and all the stupid games
all the many people and also their names
like the sands of Thar and like the water of Thames
so many things to forget and everything reminds
so many things to do, so little time

the talks, the times, the fun and the belongingness
the love, the passion, the beauty and all the god's bless
the rhythm of life of which the time has made a mess
so many things to leave and everything binds
so many things to do, so little time

again the time will teach, again I'll start to learn
one more time the pleasure, that's lost, I'll have to earn
again the fun, the love, the beauty, the passion
will find me somewhere else
as now I have to move on
the future is calling, the past not letting to go
the crux between these two is my present woe
But now I have decided, that I am moving on
Challenging the future, forgetting the past foregone.........
