Moving Too Fast 2 Poem by Jeanette Telusma

Moving Too Fast 2

Life is so beautiful,
It's no justice when
We rush through
As if in a whirlwind.
Relationships are meant to
be savoured.
To rush into means there's a
Slight chance you might miss
An important fact.
To savour each moment is
As eating a strawberry ice cream
Slowly.
Moving too fast takes away
The richness of what could be.
It pays to take time to
See, smell, taste, hear, and feel.
To do this opens the door
For genuine appreciation.

Though life is beautiful yet proceeding ahead with rush may bring grief and missing of chances. A beautiful philosophical write.
