Mr. Moon Poem by Sydney L

Mr. Moon

Rating: 5.0

Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon,
You've left me alone again.
The sky is empty, and very dark,
Where have you gone my friend?

Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon,
You're looking thin again.
Have you gone on a diet?
Eat well tonight my friend.

Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon,
You're looking better again.
Hope you are safe tonight.
Keep watch my friend.

Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon,
You're shining bright again.
I missed your soft glow,
Good to see you my friend.

Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon,
You're looking dim again.
I hope you aren't sick.
Take it easy my friend.

Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon,
You're getting thin again.
I hope you don't leave me.
Please stay with me, my friend.

Mr. Moon, Mr. Moon,
You've disappeared again.
I know you must be tired.
Rest well my friend.
