A face with a smile,
As I enter the bar
Gave me a clear clue
a striking evening ain't too far

I sit by the side
To savor the breeze
Chatting with my pals, until to left I freeze
Yes my view is so perfect
The same guy setting his deck

He flawlessly starts the show, as well he should
And the beer in my hand suddenly starts to taste so good
I notice the smirk on his face and he noticed mine
And the lovely ambiance took no time to shine

How does he know my favorite song?
I ask my friend in surprise
She laughs it off to tease me and asks me to act wise

Couldn't get my eyes off you, for as long as I sat
singing to the spellbound notes, ignoring this and that
A splendid evening to cherish forever
