Much Of Hardship Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Much Of Hardship

Much of hardship

Let all people dream same
Wish and think without blame
Black races or white clans
Should present no other plans

Why we want injustice?
And give false promises
To all those who have no knowledge
And still die for name in golden page

They have not seen
But promised dreamland like heaven
"You shall find place there"
Where you shall face no fear

Even educated people are falling to propaganda
How can one be carried away by also propaganda?
Why we want to present his name throughout world
When repeatedly his presence is imagined

Instead we are killing our own brethren
Creating simple hell
Making life impossible
And force them to die for nothing among people

What the black man say to god?
Why white men propagate and refuse to share the road?
Or why the black people resort to terrorism and impose dictatorship?
When their own people suffered so much of hardship
