Murderous Thoughts Poem by Jennah Shuler

Murderous Thoughts

Rating: 5.0

The thought of losing you killed me.
And then suddenly, you were gone
And now I'm dead.
I won't eat.
I don't sleep.
I can't breathe.
Your presence kept me alive,
Now all i do is sit and cry.
I tried to let go, tried to move on,
But everything I do feels wrong.
Everything reminds me of you:
The grass, the trees, the skies of blue.
I can't move on, I can't go back.
It feels like my heart is stuck in a trap.
A trap of love, a trap of fate.
The trap just holds you til you break.
You can never really leave, never really escape,
But what's left of your heart is just bruises and scrapes.
Bruised, scarred, hurt to the part
Where it hurts the most, where it can't be replaced.
I thought I would never lose your heart
But now I have, I've lost your embrace.
I've lost every piece of you
Except the memories.
Please keep those forever; I will too
And in my heart you will forever be.

Sad story of love well articulated and nicely penned from the heart. A good creation. Thanks for sharing Jennah.
