Murmur Poem by Lux Bellavora

Murmur

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes life is just holding out for the right time
To tell you it's alright to cry
and hold your pillow screaming deep
Into the night
It's okay to light fires even
When you're already being burnt
And it's fine to ask God how
Can you love me when all
I ask from you is
Guidance and I'm answered
With you're fist clenching around
My throught as I gasp for air

Because I found the road
I was looking for and although the gravel
cuts my feet and scars have yet to heal,
the blood trails left behind
reminds others of heart still beating inside of me
Even if its just a drumming
Just a few beats
just a murmur

One can only help to continue fighting though we bleed along the way. Stay strong my dear friend
