Where Poem by Lux Bellavora

Where

So I guess this means we are never
Meant to understand what we want
because it's the universe's
Last cosmic joke to humanity
That
Whatever we choose will never
Be the best thing for us
In the end there is only one choice
And it isn't answered until you speed
Past in your own black hearse
And by that time you won't
want to answer

Underneath all these thick
black robes
Is just a cracked and leaking
Vessel
No matter who you are
or where you think you're going
Life will only see you for what you are
The same hearts
that have cursed the earth
Since time began

And it isn't what you are
Or who you are
Because life isn't
a question

It's a choice.
