Muse Of Mine Poem by Guy Wild

Muse Of Mine

Rating: 5.0

She wanders but is not lost
and is as care-free as the wind that follows her
She Dances under tree's and plays with heart strings
Gently strumming them to the beat of her own
When she's around him he feel's like home
Nothing breaching the brick walls but the sound of her whisper, and the feel of her touch
Her smile illuminating the structure with ease
As if it was never in question, that she was the girl for him.

He's the kind of kid who doesn't learn his lesson
with a knack for self-destruction
He refuses to admit he truly cares
The melancholic breathe leaves charming words in it's absence
But the ticking of the clock counting down the minutes makes him nervous
He can't help but keep his cool, for it's what he has done his entire life
But inside of him there is a raging fire
and the only way it can be subdued is her
