Music In Poem Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Music In Poem

Rating: 5.0

It was to be cautioned
And not questioned
About past memory
There was no need to worry

You needed to sing
With best cord in mouth ring
You were to give personal touch
And come up to reach

I am as sentimental as you
Totally committed and rue
Take the leaf out and read
You may certainly lead

I shall hear the heart's depth
With each breathe
That shall take me to end of happiness
To feel powerfully and face

So sing from bottom
That has been heard seldom
I shall pick sweetness and rhythm
To be heard as music in poem

Music brings happiness when it comes out of your heart and when the rhythm and sweetness mingle with the chosen words, it leads to melody and music. I would like to quote the following lines which put across the concept in unequivocal terms: I shall pick sweetness and rhythm / To be heard as music in poem.
