Musical Genius Poem by Shame Provoked secrecy

Musical Genius

I want to be a musician
I’ve got the music in my head,
I want to play the piano
And let the chords explain what I said

I want people to hear what I hear
And let me judge it’s beauty through their eyes,
My long sweeping strings and perfect melody
With which a chamber choir will harmonise

I want to be the best musician in the world
To evoke feelings of pain or fun,
But I guess I’m just the mind of a musical genius
Trapped in the body of a hopeless one
