Musing 40 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

Musing 40

He travelled through the road of a city ancient
Being greeted with heap of dust rustling and unsettled.
Lonely road besieged by caved mansions and houses
Looking worn and shabby in steady afternoon sun beams.
The city appeared not foreign to him and unknown
And a strange odor intense pervaded his sense smelling,
A great betrayal to the heart genuine loving paranoid
Rechristening each dusts with fairest commitment ageless
To be rummaged and condensed by the brighter moon,
Sculpture of a princess amused be redrawn with beauty peerless.
