Muslim Worship Poem by james watkin

Muslim Worship

Curling up at Allah's bidding
Is this cobra of sound.
Sun's first and last coercing
Over crescent ground.

Minarets through mustard skies
Point all muezzin's unstained
Ambitioning; by what's heard
For himself sustained.
