The rain that's lashing out at mountains, spires
Tall trees and huts abates when dazzling Sun
Reveals himself from cloud-curtains with fires
And yells at downfall, hey stop thee... it's done.
The blossomed booms, the dancing leaves and grass
Will fall one day when the Autumn ushers in
With dry visage, long parched out tongues and crass
Simpers to have last laugh at Spring's chagrin.
Be smiles or weeps well nothing lasts forever.
Trust me, the rules of time are weird and severe.
This whole of universe is mutable,
O friend. The light follows the gloom and well
The gloom is well behind the light. In full
Circle of weirdest vicissitudes we dwell.
There's nothing permanent in this odd world.
The ailing man stands up one day with style
And the timid will one day become so bold.
The world is just a toy and time is wile.
Your pain and joy are temporary O mate.
Don't you elate or cry... it's play of fate!
