Muted Shades Of Me Poem by Lady Blue

Here I stand in muted shades
of what I sincerely believe I am.
Yet I keep finding new shades
each day that rolls around.

It seems my world keeps changing
apparently, unknowingly so do I.
Where is life going, what will I do
life seems so alien within this hue.

I only know to keep on walking
till I finally come to some end.
I know one day around a corner
there will be a brand new bend.

I promised I would keep going
that is exactly what I plan to do.
I just want you to know, my darling
life would be much simpler with you.
