Mutual Dislike



to keep the peace
in the middle of a mutual dislike
we sit side by side
our eyes however
refuse to see
what lies ahead for us

soon we shall take the twist
south to north
sun to moon
at the edge of all these
one must sink and the other
must rise

i am heavier.
