My Beloved Dad Poem by Audrey Heller

There's a special, place within my heart,
that never, could ever, keep us apart,
always it will remain! For everytime I think
of you, there's still, a lot of pain! I try very
hard, not to show, exactly how I feel. I try
to smile most everyday, but even when
I do, the pain, just won't, go away! I miss
you now, as I did then and I always will.
For there's a place, in this empty heart,
that only you, can fill! Some day, I know
I'll see you again, the thought makes me
happy and glad. But for now, I know I must
wait. So I'll just keep thinking, about you
everyday, my beloved dad!
