My Beloved Night - Poem by Jor Dan
I have this emotion beyond my glance,
I love this moon that sings a chance,
To make me happy and the stars to dance,
And to shield my heart from the pain of lance.
Sitting here alone knowing I can fight,
Through singing my song for my beloved night,
As long as the moon shines around me,
There's nothing to worry for this melancholy.
Time goes by as approaches the red sky,
Crawling and growling as they want me to die,
Here I am sitting and gazing upon their high,
I realize it's not time to cry but to fly.
Sitting here along I knew I can fight,
Raindrops falling as they hold me tight,
As long as the moon is just behind,
There's nothing to fear for being blind.
Now I have this strength for such emotion,
I love this feelings that stand for passion,
To make me strong and to be my light,
And to sing my song for my beloved night.
