'My' Bio - Poem by James McLain

It took a very long time..
to get her up there..
she squirmed and kicked..
and offered me tricks..
i would not take her licks...
her soul may be gone...
though her bodies still here.
i have to still get my kicks..
on this lovely dark,
swing where i sit...
Who would know her name...
