My Boat Poem by RICARDO JOHNS

My Boat

My boat has been taken from the sea
Where it cannot be stressed by tide and wave
Now hanging from a crane, still at last
The sea smashes the shore, but I feel safe
My kin is my rock, and there beside me
where in my heart, they always will be.
