My Body Poem by Emily Krauss

My body is
A story.
It tells me when I am in pain
By giving off signs of aches and pains.

My body is
A story.
It tells me when I am sad
And feeling oh so blue.

My body is
A story.
It tells me when I am happy
Like the shining sun.

My body is
A story.
It tells me when I am tired
And need to drift off to sleep.

So you see my body is a story
But not just mine.
All of our bodies are a
Living, breathing, walking, talking story.
