My Broken Heart Poem by White Tiger

I had no choice, but to hear your voice
When you told me, you were leaving
I never knew, that it would come from you
To leave my heart alone and grieving

You caught me by surprise, with your string of lies
And left me in a hardened cast
But I quickly learned, what I truly yearned
That this chapter in my life had passed

I knew of course, you would show no remorse
When our relationship fell apart
I was left in the cold, to openly hold
What was left of my broken heart.
