My Cold Heart Skipped A Beat - Poem by Edwin Tanguma

My Cold Heart Skipped A Beat

It is as if
My feet don't touch the ground
My head's spinning
Its going round and round

When I saw you
My cold heart skipped a beat
And it felt warm
To it you were a treat

It has been said
Its like walking on air
Speaking of love
It gives me strength to dare

For without love
We are an empty shell
And without love
Life is a living hell
