My Daddy Poem by Richard Jarboe

My Daddy

Rating: 5.0

My daddy was an old grasshopper,
Mama was a termite sow,
Me I'm looking like a cross between,
A cricket and a sweat bee,
Well, well, well,
It's different when you're an insect,
Not what you'd expect at all,
Hanging upside down,
Trying to get yourself together,
Sticking on a ceiling or wall.
