My Dear, In A Garden Snapshot Poem by james watkin

My Dear, In A Garden Snapshot

Eden restored! What required
No lush peace to contact
As its essential factor
To keep its tone intact.

No blindingly pure light
Of holy blessing's grace
Shot through, warm hued and honied
To so exalt the place.

Just this; what flower-like outlines
Beauty's ultimate lure.
With soft-worn trait, as its heart's
Midst one's swarming pleasure.
