My Dearest Thanatos Poem by Napa Napa

My Dearest Thanatos

I dream of him even though he lives in a different world.

I long for the times we shared captivated in each others arms.

I long for his breath to tickle the back of my neck.

He dances in my soul and will constantly be on my mind.

His voice a place of peace that calls my name,

Only to show me a side of him that everyone is scared to see.

Oh…his beautiful body enchanted by others misery.

His strong hands press gently against my thighs,

Ready to release the pain he carries that will not be noticed by you.

I will lift that burden that comes from those souls he reaps.

Every touch from him is a shiver of my ecstasy.

As I let out my last breath, just to escape inside his malevolent heart,

I dream of our tender moments shared between lovers.

I keep them in a box under lock and key to hold them safely in my deepest dreams.

As we get close to that edge entwined in each others souls,

Beautiful and sweet of a man that others only dream of.

But frightened by all humanity…My Dearest Death

He is my soulmate, the one that invariably completes me.

Even now he is so far away, but I can hear him call for me day by day.
