My Dooomed Love#2 Poem by Sandra Black

My Dooomed Love#2

I think I have the best self-control
But I know for sure you made me whole
I must be crazy to deny you
I must be crazy to not satisfy you
When I know each day tis me surely
That suffers a million deaths internally

A wisp of eternal perfume fills the air
A vision of the holiest Lord is there
You are that and so much more
You are larks flying in the air
Squirrels dancing in their lair
You are in short beyond compare

I am but a daft pool
Pretending to be old school
Dancing in the moonlight blindfold
Freezing my heart out in the cold
When all along your thoughts make me drool
Tell me I haven't been a crazy fool?
