Mind-Bogglers Poem by Sandra Black

Mind-Bogglers

I love your brains
I love your humour
I love it when
You make my worries fewer

I like that you meet me everyday
I like the way you want to stay
I like that you value every word I say
I like you follow me to work each day

I love your funny emojis
I love each dancing little piggy
I love how it when you stroke my hair
I love my little panda bear

I love that you are wise and old
And never will have to a thing be told
I love the way with you I am bold
I love you more than pots of gold

Of late though my dearest friend
I have a feeling that my mind unbends
I am pretty shallow
And tying up loose ends

I observe a face I dreamt not thence
It makes me suffer pangs immense
I love every bit of you
But your face reminds me of Dr. Who.

I thought first twas but a phase
Now I know I have no grace
I am just as bad as the rest
I have upped and failed the test

Dear God I pray guide me here
If tis true love I suffer from here
Why then is it another I see
Gleefully laughing while with ye?
