My Dreams My Hopes Poem by indira babbellapati

My Dreams My Hopes

Dreams and hopes
Get woven as an alluring
Multicolored web
Let me tell you,
Sometimes they’re
Embroidered as
Leaves buds and flowers
On the fabric
Most times our feet get caught
In that enthralling web

…but do you know
That at the end of the show
It’s just one dream
It’s just one hope
That takes reins of
A whole life...

And what’s the meaning of
This dream-like-life
Without you…?

Sighs my heart…
