My Dust-Laden Nameplate Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

My Dust-Laden Nameplate

The plate needs to be changed
As the man who used to be here
Lives he not here,
He seems to have moved it elsewhwerre
And there is none who can tell it about
The persona non-gratia.

Who the man,
Where is he,
Where has he moved to, shifted to,
There is nobody to give the clue about,
Tell about his address and whereabouts
Or to extend some information to,
Even the letters get redirected not, returned to.

I do not know who the man was,
Where has he moved to,
Whereabouts unknown,
Just can see the olden copper nameplate
Telling of his name
Dust-laden and blurring.
