My Eternal Sleep Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

My Eternal Sleep

Someday I may get lost
In the wilderness of daily chore
I would like to remain as
Pure as a diamond when I reach the shore

Someday I may breathe my last
And go to sleep in my earthy cell
My soul will merge with His
With the rhyming sound of a Church's bell

Someday I will be forgotten
Get erased from the your memory
There will be no one to sing
A song for me who dies in chill penury
