My Everything Poem by Singleton M. Tate

My Everything

As I listen very closely
To the 'Winds of Life' that blow,

While I sense that danger's coming
Doesn't mean I really know,

I may stumble and may falter
This might happen frequently,

As my whisper very softly
Drew 'The One' who'll set me free.

~~~~
Though I pray for guidance daily
Cause I just don't know the way,
When the fear has taken over
All I do and ever say,
Crushing down the world around me
Lost in anguish and dismay,
As now all I have to give Him
Was a soul that could not pay,
Oh give praise to Him forever
As His love held fast my stay.
~~~~

When the circumstances silence
All my hope in bitter stance,

Reaching up beneath that portal
Is my faith that needs a chance,

Giving up is not an option
Going back pure misery,

'Lifted up in Exaltation'
'Jesus Christ who is the 'Key'

Hear the final,
'Words of Splendor'
'Calming Peace and Sweet Surrender'

As l,
'Bless His Holy Name'
Jehovah God,
'My Everything'
