My Evol Poem by kinuthia david

My Evol

I would write it in black, or,
I could it in red, but,
but your name...
it shines upon all darkness
-One look at you
and the dark corners,
of my lone heart
brighten up with warmth,
from your broad smile.

Your eyes...Oh,
how they mock the stars,
your hair,
but it's nothing when compared
to your gracefully long neck
as it meets with the back,
a plateau of glamour.

Your face, it is imperfectly perfect,
an epitome of beauty,
and your character,
angels would be jealous.
-Had i the power
i would've made you my mat
that every day i'd lay on,
though lame it may sound
many would fancy the idea,
even if you were their pet,
but luck is my loyal friend,
for you are all mine.

And when i speak of your hands
my blood rushes,
A glance at your lips
and my mind wonders
from which part in heaven,
they were moulded
-if i was a man of science,
i would've made another you
a clone, they call it,
but your heart is one of gold,
and it would've been a headache
to make one.
My Evol.
