My Eyes Poem by Edwina Reizer

My Eyes

As you gaze into my eyes
there is nothing I disguise.
You see desire, nothing more.
You see what love has in store.

As you gaze into my eyes
the only thing you'll realize
will be the love I have for you.
And then what is it you will do?

Close your eyes, shut them tight
or open them and see the sight
that holds you in a lover's spell
and captures the image of how you fell
in love?
