My Father's Path Poem by Muhammad Shakour Algnash

My Father's Path

Day after day while the sun shines
I succumb to life and its lies
As I stand to see the lovely sun
But my father madly says “son run”
Two fathers in my life I really had
I do not know the feeling is good or bad
One welcomes me with great joy
The other one despises me like Troy
Where should I go and who I trust?
Follow my revenge, gentleness or lust.
