My Favorite Subject Poem by Rachel Hughes

My Favorite Subject

You left your print upon my heart.

The love I have for you nothing could ever pull apart.

Every word you utter to me is heartfelt.

At the sound of your voice, I melt.

You have the face of an angel.

I know it's every curve an angle.

I study your every move.

I know what makes you tic.

Like glue on you I stick.

Every part of you I covet.

You are my favorite subject.
