My Favourite Book- The Holy Bible Poem by Dr John Celes

The book I love foremost –Holy Bible,
My favourite because God speaks
To human beings through prophets, God-men
And tells His ways, His plans for man He made.

The book reveals how God created man,
And answers many questions with wisdom,
Has stories telling God loves righteous men
Who love obeying Him more than their life.

The book unfolds the mind and heart of God,
About heaven and how the world will end;
It speaks about God’s Kingdom and His love,
And how He sent His Son to save mankind.

The Word of God helps guide the righteous soul
Through path of grace and narrow heaven’s gate;
Christ told about His Father’s love and plans,
As sinners too could enter God’s abode.

Oh, what a book of revelations great!
The mystery of the mystic God is told;
The aim of birth and after-life described;
God’s love for man is told in parables.

If man can live his life as per God’s Words,
He’s bound to be in heaven forever,
And stay with God in bliss that’s eternal,
Reward for keeping God’s tenets on earth.
