My Final Bow
As I open my eyes for the last time I think of you and us
And what we used to be
We were once together
We went from a small fling to a big love connection
You were the air I breathe
The steps I take
The moves I make
The beats to my heart
And I need you now but you're gone
Like the last leaf on a tree
You disappeared like a vanishing act
I need you because you were my guardian angel
You protected me like I protected you
You calmed me down whenever I had a knife in my hand
I helped you wipe your tears away
And now that you left me
I can't live on too long
We will be together soon
We will love each other again in heaven
And now I shut my eyes forever
i've....felt this way...too many times...before...i know...how this feels...how bad living seems to...be...without the one you love...i've cut before...mayn times...but i'm growing stronger....i know how to cope....by my poetry...everyone who reads my stuff cries, i've got books apon books of my poetry, the reason i am alive...to be a writer, a poet(:
so much hurt and pain you have a beautiful talent and beautiful poetry keep it up :) and smile for teh days tht are worth smiling for
