i fell for you so long ago and still cant seem to get up
to this day youre the only one ive desired
you were so cute back when we met that i couldnt help but like you
and an untimely split made us mush closer
you dont know the feelings i felt when i saw you again
i said id make the best of our second chance
enamored with one another to the point it was adorable
yet showing such cool reserve in public
its funny how no one understood our bond
at times we admitted it was truly unseen by us both
holding on to what we thought was love so young
brought us closer than i ever thought was possible
time passes oh so quickly but takes forever it seems
i cant see you though i know i do love you
and cant count the times youve expressed the same
for different reasons we continue to grasp at thin strands
you say i helped you to change your life
and i know i am a better person as well because of you
i know my strength and resolve and i fight for who i love
my dear you will never have to question
trust id never hurt you or leave you in desperation
youve said im different and i inquired how
your answer made me realize i shouldnt ever doubt you
and though young still i imagined a life with you
when you said the words i dreamed of hearing i was surprised
the thought was such a major change in your life decisions
pleased because you wanted to share that with me
and to just spend our life together making me happy
i know what love is though we found it so young
youre my sweetheart and you call me your wife
maybe one day we can make it true
never forget for a day in your life how deeply ive loved you
i regret nothing ive done for us though at times i shocked myself
its hard to imagine moving beyond your love to someone else
life may throw us some twists but youre a best friend
we will never part even if for some reason we separate
our lives are interwoven so complexly
that i will never recover from that first fall
and in your arms i hope to land
