My Future Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

My Future

Whither I wander,
Whither I roam,
Wherever my heart is,
Is where I consider being my home.

When Fate takes a hand,
And delivers its blow,
I’ll not be despondent,
For Hope will take its bow.

My Faith for my future,
Will forever vest in HIM,
To keep me steadfast,
And not sink but swim.

When this week I lost my livelihood,
Depression was short-lived,
My Future is hopeful
And must be fully lived.

Write letters I must,
To seek work for to do,
To provide for my family,
And write poems for you.
