At my getaway place, I spend my time alone
Savoring its secludedness, feel its serene zone,
Here I found peace, set my mind for what is best
Tired from battlefield living, want my life at its zest!

Birds chirping, insects buzz and humming
Spend nights of solemn lights, cold breeze wrapped my being,
Heard the howling owl in between my wake
A call of which I must have now for my good sake.

Here I feel the solemn magic of sincere warmth
Nature embraces me, gives me freedom from selfish wrath,
Analyzing, realizing and figuring how my life has been
And from here, I have you in my heart...will love you 'till the end!
