My God Poem by Claude Simpson

My God is of infinite wisdom
And light;
He has created the beauty
of day
And the peace and calm
Of night.

My God is the creator of all
That is holy;
From nothingness to
Awesome beauty;
Heaven and earth are filled
With God's glory!

My God has given us
The greatest measure
Of love;
Love we can share
And yet have an abundance.
In all things
We give thanks to the Father
Above.

My God to him
We pray;
To enjoy the fruits of the Spirit
And live with joy
Everyday.

My God, the God of hosts;
He is my choice;
We serve him with all
That is within us;
In God we rejoice.
