My God Saw My Lonely Boat

My God saw
my lonely boat
from afar.
He flew down to me
to love me
to caress
and care for me.
In my lonely moments
I see him flying to me.
That is my consolation.
I shall never be left alone,
never, never and I smile
a lovely smile that touches
the core of the heart.

Those who love God are not left alone! The thought that He won't desert us even if all the others do, is a consoling and comforting thought! The image of a lonely boat and the eagle flying down is a metaphoric symbol, aptly chosen!
