(in answer to Heinrich Heine)
My golden-haired beautiful long-legged fairy,
daily I do you spellbound in our garden see.
Sometimes you sit on a bench under the oak tree
and when I offer you a red rose gallantly,
your happy smile has to it a kind of eternity
and to heart in kindness goes your beauty,
where I do know you and you truly do know me,
are my companion, friend and wife as if it's meant to be
where your love comes from your own will free.
