My Grandma Poem by Randy McClave

My Grandma

I'm going to brag about my grandma
And not on my grandpa,
Though my grandad might have bought the meat
My grandma always made it good to eat.
That lady made sure I had everything I needed
She was never uncaring or conceited,
And when my mother had forgotten about me
My grandma bounced me on her knee.
And when someone had treated me the worst
My grandma always put me first,
No matter who the other persons was
My grandma always gave me unconditional love.
I am not going to brag on my mother
Because, she always cared about another,
Sometimes, she seemed and acted like she never cared at all
But, my grandma was always there for my every ache and fall.
For me my grandma was always there
God had sent her to answer my tears and prayer,
She is the reason on who I truly am
And for me she always gave a damn.
Whenever I was hurt or sick or sad
My grandma would always made me glad,
And when others didn't want to help or give
My grandma always gave me a place to live.
When she wasn't with me I still was never alone
She was always there on my phone,
She always knew where she and others stood
That lady, my grandma always made sure we was always good.
